Sorenson smacks Joe Scar down: "Robert Kennedy never said that."
Scar knows all of course. He "recounted" a story in a meeting during the 1960 Dem Convention Bobby ordered everybody in the room who wasn't a delegate "outta here!"

Ted Sorenson said quietly but firmly "Robert Kennedy never said that. He didn't say it."

Oh, for more Ted Sorensons on MJ!

2. Sorenson was THERE
Edited on Fri Aug-28-09 08:21 AM by DFW
Scar was in diapers. Whose version will the right wing accept? Not Sorenson's.

on edit--or not even born yet. I didn't bother to check his DOB. The point is the same.

And the radical right will STILL take Scar's word over Sorenson. Why? Because it fits
in with what they WANT to be true. If Glenn Beck tells them the sun rises in the West,
they'll be picketing town hall meetings on health care screaming that soshalists and
kommanists have been fooling us about true astronomy all these years.

3. Sorenson also wouldn't play the brothers off each other i.e. who was the most
"consequential" brother. Scar will have to go to Peggy Noonan for that mindless babble.

I had no idea that Ted Kennedy was really a centrist accommodationist. Really? I'm learning so much from RW'ers explaining who Ted Kennedy really was. :eyes:

7. I turned off olbermann when he was playing that game.
"Is it fair to say Ted Kennedy was the best of the three?" (paraphrased, forgot exact quote)

Tacky as all hell, we were joking at the dinner table that Olbermann was going to produce video of each of them in a bathing suit, followed by the talent portion of the competition.
