Rush, Billo, Glen, Sean et al...and Caliban

Kind of convoluted, but stick with me for a moment.

In William Shakespeare's The Tempest, the wizard Prospero has landed on a deserted island with his daughter,Miranda.

On the island before them, there was an evil witch (who doesn't make an appearance because she's dead...but you hear about her) Sycorax and her son, Caliban.

Now Caliban was a piece of work...ugly as sin, evil, rotten to the core. Prospero tried to change that, but didn't have much luck...sow's ears do not good silk purses make.

NOW we come to what the subject heading was all about. Prospero was reminding Caliban of all he'd done for him, including teaching him how to TALK.

Caliban replies:

"You taught me language, and my profit on't is that I know how to curse."

All the amazing ways we have to communicate today...and the best they can do is metaphorically take a dump on airways and smear it around.

Caliban should be on the National Logo of the Republican Party.
