CBS News correspondent Cami McCormick injured in Afghanistan
CBS News correspondent Cami McCormick was seriously injured by a roadside bomb today in Logar province, Afghanistan, as she traveled with the U.S. Army on assignment for CBS Radio News, the network said.
New York-based McCormick was hurt when the vehicle she was riding in was hit by an improvised explosive device. She underwent surgery at a field hospital and was transported to Bagram Air Base, north of Kabul, for additional treatment. The network did not release details about the extent of her injuries...
