Ted Jr's sled story made me weep
and I am not a cryer.

To be determined in life(and politics) is the very best lesson to learn.
It is best learned when young.

1. It was one of the most poignant moments today - and Patrick's story was touching too. nt

2. I'm hoping that there will be a webpage
with a transcript of those who spoke at Ted's service. I would like to make a memorial album for my family to keep and treasure this great man.

7. I'm hearing impaired, lol
Not completely deaf but, phones, tv, and video's are hard. In r/l I'm pretty good.

Sometimes youtube will CC, most times not. I'll find them one way or another.

8. I'll keep an eye out for any transcripts and forward them to you --
I'm so hoping we can find them -- I wouldn't want you to miss a WORD! :hi: Well, except for McCain's.

3. I lost it too, then
Ave Maria just drove me to tears, but that's how this old lapsed Catholic gal reacts anytime the song is sung.

Then the eulogies of his sons and Barack just drove me into heavy tears.

What a wonderful man we have had the experience to see and know by his works. His duty to and love for his family has just made me so appreciative of the man he was.

RIP Teddy - may you rest well, reunited with your brothers and other family.

5. I hear ya.
I'm a narly old salt, yet found my self rocking back and forth with an extra large box of Kleenex on my lap. He was one of a kind and is will never be replaced.

6. Ted Jr is inspirational
I had a migraine this morning (probably from crying so much yesterday) so I missed this morning's service , dammit. But CNN replayed Ted Jr's eulogy. Beautiful! Absoultely perfect pitch. Too bad he doesn't seem interested in politics.

13. It might very well be.
It makes sense that they'd take pix on Teddy's first day outside after his surgery. Considering his tearjerking eulogy for his Dad, which will no doubt become a part of our cultural history, this is a pic for the ages. :hi:
