3. I managed to spot my congressman, on the steps.

Dale Kildee of Michigan. I turned on the tv at just the right time, as the camera panned past him. I'm not at all surprised he's there.

I turned to ClusterFaux Snooze and they are showing live exterior shots of Wash, DC.

Chris Wallace is spinning and bloviating. I had to turn back before I :puke: .

Ed: What a scumbag. Just before I changed the channel Chris Wallace said to one of the
guests on his panel and said "You're a Kennedy lover" before asking him a loaded question.
Mike Wallace should be ashamed.

I see people standing out in the heat without complaint, waiting to see a man of the people off on his journey. It's a beautiful site. I love the kids/family with the nautical flags. That was a very creative and moving touch.

18. very moving- I enjoyed watching the service at the JFK library last night

and it is inspiring to watch the staff at the Capitol. It is clear that a lot of people loved this man and it was easy to take him for granted in some ways, since I think we all thought he would always be around. It seems typical of the Kennedy's that they would take the time to show respect for his staff.

I feel bad for the family - they must be exhausted, emotionally and otherwise.
