WALLACE: And what do you think of the healthcare reform issue?

CHENEY: I don't --

well, it is an important issue, but I think the proposals the Administration has made are -- do not deserve to be passed. I think the fact that there is a lot of unrest out there in the country that gets expressed in these town hall meetings with folks coming and speaking out very loudly about their concerns indicates that there are major, major problems of what the administration is proposing.

2. I try not to think ill of too many people
but Cheney is one old bastard that I can't wait to see into the ground. Everytime I hear him speak I hope that rasping cough gets a little worse. There are few people I hate as much as that prick.

10. Isn't that . . . no, not "interesting"
What's the word I'm looking for? Oh yeah! Self-serving. See, Dick doesn't think about health care because he knows he's totally taken care of, either by his insurance company or his personal fortune, plundered from the less rapacious over a lifetime of amoral greed.

But isn't it nice that he's suddenly paying attention to "folks coming and speaking out very loudly about their concerns," and concluding that that indicates there are "major, major problems" with what the administration is proposing. Just to recap, Dick Cheney thinks we should all listen to people like this lady:

But he felt quite safe in ignoring the remarkably prescient voices represented here:

12. By that logic he should have stopped the Iraq War.
Because there was a hell of a lot more unrest in this country about that.
