Time to slap the Morning Joe country club set for mocking the crowds who showed
up to see Senator Kennedy's cortege as not being dressed properly for the occasion. Apparently, everyone should have shown up dressed "appropriately" to say good-by to this man who championed the working class. I think Teddy would have been glad to see them, regardless of the clothing they came in.

1. Is that all they could find to complain about?
They must be running low on cynicisms

3. Can't dog them too much
They seem to speak for all sides except the fringe tin hatters. That's the call of the progressive. To open our minds to all ideas and dispense those that don't pass the test of logic.

10. nothing
Everyone speaks a faux pas from time to time. This statement though does not define the show.

Granted, they often bring left-leaning guests on the show. However, when those guests leave, the wee trio (Joe, Mika & Willie) does its best to discredit all that was said. The hosts themselves are by no means middle-of-the-road commentators.

Just the same, Morning Joe is a show I would recommend to my republican-voting, Fox-watching sister - my sole intention being to ween her off of that psychotic grouping of Doocy, Carlson and not-Doocy.

13. I like Mika, but
She is the motherly sidekick that is a staple on every morning show. (Man Cow, Johnny Dare, etc) She is there to keep the host in line and pretend to be offended at their outrages. Love her, but that's her paid role.

How she could be so shallow, given her roots and upbringing, absolutely amazes me.

17. Weren't dressed appropriately? WTH?
Those people were there for hours to pay respects to a man that they admired and respected. They were not there for any other reason. Please excuse them for not having on designer couture and looking all chic. These were the people that Senator Kennedy represented with vigor and pride. While the Morning Jerk group sat in a climate controlled room and sipped their lattes, the others were out in the elements on their feet for hours. Jeez. Some people just have nothing better to talk about I suppose. Mika is so condescending.:eyes:

Who's going to stand in the hot and humid streets for hours wearing a Klien wool suit, shortly after rushing up from Virginia beach while on vacation. I get it.

20. It wasn't just Mika, but Joe too. Mr. Ordinary Joe put on his best
nasal downspeaking tone and participated with Willie smiling adoringly and Buchanan amplifying the outrage. Barnacle stuck up for the guy on the street and said they came, they showed up.

25. Actually they were reading an article from the New York Post..
As far as I remember only Barnacle (who thought it was fine) and Mika (who thought it wasn't) actually commented on the article. Other than that it lasted barely a minute or so with little being said.
