Radical Arizona preacher hopes ‘God strikes Obama with brain cancer so he can die like Ted Kennedy.’

Arizona Pastor Steven Anderson has received national attention for dedicating an entire sermon to “Why I hate Barack Obama,” and for having a parishioner who brought an AR-15 to a protest outside a speech delivered by President Obama. Calling Obama a “socialist devil” and a “murderer,” Anderson declared, “I’m not gonna pray for his good. I’m going to pray that he dies and goes to hell.” A CNN analyst said last week Secret Service agents had likely visited Anderson because of the content of his sermons. In the face of all the controversy, Anderson decided not to apologize or retract his remarks, but rather, he escalated his rhetoric yesterday:

One of his kids is gay (I was going to put will be, but that denotes some sort of change from a different state, and I believe homosexuality is genetic)
One of his daughters will date the "wrong kind" of boy in college and be disowned. Wrong kind means different race, radically different religion (from more liberal Christian to Jew to Muslim), etc.
He will probably attract more followers and eventually build a compound like Phelps.

IMO, you die a lot worse ways than Senator Kennedy.

Even as an agnostic, I know that in Christianity, putting a soul in Hell is what Satan wants most; so, this guy is essentially asking that God compromise with evil on this one. Somebody should point out that to the Reverend that he has turned evil by any definition he himself could come up with. His Congregation should run for the hills, but somehow, I don't think it will. Ministers on the Right, if memory serves me, didn't even do that with Clinton.

And why would a Man of God do this? Because he's a racist first, a Conservative second, and Christian 11th. He's a fraud.

Unfortunately, Obama's election has not shown that there has been a racial healing. Obviously, racism is alive and well in this country if it motivates the religious to pray to God to grant Satan's will.
