Attending a Town Hall with Rep Baron Hill (blue dog) on Wed
If I get a chance to ask questions...what are some recommended ones? I'm looking for some concise hard hitting questions.

My brother is going to share our late mother's story (if he gets a chance to talk). I'm going to be carrying a sign outside referencing Matthew 25 and indicating Jesus was for healthcare. Inside, I want to be able to have some good questions lined up.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Ideas?

2. Since it is obvious that the majority of Republicans
are not going to vote for the pending legislation in congress, wouldn't the Republicans have more credibility on the issue, if they had an alternative proposal that is scored by CBO.

3. before you go, read the bill
It's not that hard to do. The thing is set up in outline form, and if you read the contents, which are listed on the first four pages, you'll know where to go in the bill to find the details. I summarized it in 12 pages, then reduced that to 4. What I didn't do was bring my notes with me, which I would recommend. Then when lies are told, you can cite Division, Title, Subsection and Section to them. It will also give you an idea for questions that are pertinent to you.

This took me about 4-6 hours to do, btw. And I work full time with daily overtime as well.
