Huckabee: "Liberal bloggers" go berserk over Kennedy comments..."What did I say that wasn't true?"


Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee doubled down Sunday on controversial remarks he made last week, in which he declared that Ted Kennedy would have been told to go home and die under ObamaCare.

"What did I say that wasn't true?" asked the one-time presidential candidate on his Fox News show "Huckabee."

Huckabee accused "George Stephanopoulos, Time Magazine, the Huffington Post, and scores of liberal bloggers," of going "berserk" over his suggestion that Kennedy would have been told to take a pain pill for his brain cancer,

"I pointed out that when Senator Kennedy was diagnosed with terminal cancer he chose to fight with all that was within him and to do that for life, instead of choosing the pain pill that President Obama spoke of," said Huckabee.

As far as I can tell, Jesus sublet the Temple to the money changers in their version. And forget the Ten Commandments - at least the ones that don't agree with your chosen lifestyle. Monogamy is for pussies (as are: telling the truth, refraining from stealing, bearing false witness, murder... all of 'em).

Wasn't Huckleberry among the self-professed religious candidates who stumbled when asked to name just a few of the Ten Commandments publicly?

Was it edited? Obama seems to be talking to the panelist when he answered, unless the lady was sitting in the same direction. His mention of a pain pill does not seem appropriate there either. That does not sound like an alternative treatment to a disease as much as it sounds like, just cover up the pain until the disease kills you.

If that's not spliced somehow, then it was not a good answer.

He had the best care in the world and it wasn't enough.

I guess the point he is trying to make is that government-run health care is bad? Millions of people on Medicare would beg to differ. And the VA is pretty good, despite (or probably because) it being socialized medicine.

Insurance companies kill people every single day, when they delay approving treatment or deny benefits for whatever reason they do do so Huckleberry needs to STFU.
