A general thank you to all who responded with such kindess to my

post re personal loss.

I read every single response, but replied to only a few. Every post, every kind word, every good thought sent my way was appreciated - even the ones that didn’t get a reply. That so many would take the time to say so many kind things to a stranger is special indeed. Even at my age, I can learn from this.

I was especially touched by how many responded with compassion even with their own grief and memories.

For all the hugs that were sent, the expressions of caring, the warmth, the condolences, the sharing of your own personal trials - I truly thank you.

I am not a churchy person, but I think what you have shown is sorta what was meant by “I was a stranger, and you took me in.”
