White House: Cheney has his facts wrong

Disk Cheney's disinformation campaign is based on 'weapons of mass deception' but little else. As always, he just makes it up as he goes along with no regard for the truth.

“This is the same song and dance we’ve heard since literally the first day of our administration,” said White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs on Monday, speaking to reporters in the briefing room.

“I don’t have a lot to say,” he added. “I think , if you watched some of his interview, was clearly, uh, clearly had his facts on a number of things wrong.”

Chief among them, though not pointed out by Gibbs, is Cheney’s allegation that the torture techniques were designed to be “safe” and were carried out by “trained professionals.”

The network’s source also corrected Cheney’s claim that the president is “the chief law enforcement officer in the land.” “That’s not true,” they told CNN. “It’s the attorney general.”

5. Agreed. Using the word 'fact' completely out of any normal context.

Using 'Cheney' and 'fact' in the same sentence is just plain wrong.

It made him look frantic, worried.

Or it could be he is having heart trouble.

That would really suck if he died. We would be forced to go through all these warm, fuzzy tributes for the coldest dick on the planet. He would never have to suffer through an indictment, never have to finally have to answer to what he has done.

I am willing to bet he will never have to answer for what he has done, but at least he is squirming.
