If Scarborough ever spoke to my wife the way he speaks to Mika ...

she would rip his nuts off and feed them to him.
How in the Hell can Mika Mouse sit there and allow the bumptious bully to treat her so disrespectfully? Is her paycheck really of sufficient size that she just doesn't care, or is she simply totally devoid of self-esteem?

10. He was belittling her for saying that Cheney used fear to get his agenda.

The use of fear to control people. I didn'thear her whole argument but she wasn't making it too well. Joe kept interrupting her, saying "fear is a valid emotion." She agreed but added that it could be used to control (maybe not her word exactly). At one point he started singing "The Candy Man" and I couldn't understand why he was doing that. She was trying to move the show along and he kept singing. It was early and I had just woken up so I wasn't too alert to everything going on.

They called it "Imus in the Morning."

Mika used to be engaged a couple of years back.

Then, the boyz starting joking about Mika putting vodka in her coffee cup, and it wasn't funny. It
was apparent that she was having some serious issues.

Now, she seems to be on some kind of drugs. Her entire personality has changed.

She's become the passive punching bag in a painted-on shirt. Her job is to sit there and take it. I think
the producer mandated that Joe act like an abusive drunk and Mika play his codependent, enabling spouse.

It's very disturbing.

sitting next to Joe. He'd be punctured and lying deflated on the floor like the big, bag of air-filled lawn balloon that he is. Instead, we have 50's sitcom Mika. She's very much the mom in Father Knows Best or Leave it to Beaver. She does the eye rolls while the "boys" misbehave. She also does a very good imitation of Edith Bunker's dithering. "Oh, I don't know. Well, maybe. I guess we'll just have to wait and see." I know she's not actually wearing an apron, but it always seems to me like she is.
