With the GOP disinformation campaign going into full gear, the counterattack has been tepid at best. But there is some effort to counteract the viral e-mails with disinformation about the healthcare reform being proposed.
Even FactCheck.org has a discussion of the
Twenty-six Lies About H.R. 3200.
My personal opinion is that the Cult of GOP Zombies has again taken to the streets and is now going to eat the flesh of the secular-gay-liberal-internationalist-socialist conspirators, i.e., moderate democrats. The Cult of the Conservatives is working up their lather after their Great and Glorious Leader, George W. Bush, was slandered and driven into the wilderness.

From the Left, a New Fact-Checking Health Care Site
By Kate Phillips
Add another fact-checking Web mini-site, albeit partisan from the left, to the burgeoning group chasing down legislative health care rumors of all sorts.
http://mediamattersaction.org/emailchecker/The left-leaning Media Matters Action Network went live Tuesday with the mini-site, called e-mail checker. It is meant to combat viral e-mails spreading all sorts of wild notions about the health care overhaul effort. (All those “death panel” e-mails, for example.)
The site is patterned after the Obama election campaign’s “Fight the Smears” site last year.
Chris Harris, a spokesman for the group, said the site would act as a guide to the “facts” — according to Media Matters, of course — offering responses that readers could cut and paste into in e-mail messages.
