2. Throw in Edwards mystifying Iran stand. This will frenzy the Edwards supporters.
3. Since you are one of our gay operatives, bring in the throw away line for gay rights..."it's up to the states", that Edwards uses as the all encompasing answer.

by using lies, and innuendo to push their own favorite, has sold their moral and ethical values and yes, pimps for that candidate. Better to sell sex, than stoop to that IMHO.

It's as if, because you support Clark, you have no independent judgment, and because you support Clark, he deserves the hostility you attract by having an opinion of your own. It's nuts. But I am particularly fed up with this paid op/troll bullshit being peddled to divert attention away from an uncomfortable issue. Because, another kind of problem, and much worse, in my opinion, than any other, is that we DUers are expected all of a sudden not to critique primary candidates on policy. Suddenly viewed as smearing or bashing is what used to be plain old due diligence. I say if we are expected to run a candidate eventually for the highest office, we should know exactly and fully what they are about. I've answered hundreds, maybe thousands of questions about General Clark on DU. Other candidate supporters are just going to have to do the same. I'm not talking about swiftboating, like Kerry's joke, I'm not talking about smearing like Clark was at Waco, or Obama's false religion -- I am talking about when something is true, such as Edwards built a 28,000+ square foot house that cost 50,000 or whatever trees. It's a valid discussion in terms of global warming, sustainability and consumption, and in what direction a candidate would lead the country.

I just went over a line this morning with all this troll crapola. Are there trolls here? Yes. Are there Republican trolls here? Yes. But there is currently an attempt to shut up honest critics by calling them trolls. Which is what the OP was getting at. Now you, you're just insulting in how you portray Clark supporters, but I just chalk that up to politics.

Actually it is not representative, because there are very nice people, such as Venable, who try to make the Edwards case without stooping to that level. You should try it sometime. Dealing with DUers as individuals instead of insulting an entire group.

For chissakes, there are whole websites devoted to smearing Wes Clark, twisting, distorting and outright lying--I WISH he was only chastised for the size of his house.
