Gov. John Corzine hurt in car accident on way to mediate between Imus and Rutgers girls.
snip - Corzine, 60, won't be able to resume his duties as governor for several days, if not weeks, and he won't walk normally for months, his doctor said. Fortunately, he did not suffer any brain damage in the crash, said Dr. Robert Ostrum, who performed two hours of surgery on the governor Thursday night at Cooper University Hospital.

"He's in serious shape, but he's alive and going to survive. Hopefully, he'll be back to work in a few weeks," said state Senate President Richard Codey, who took over as acting governor, speaking Friday on WNBC-TV.

The crash occurred around 6 p.m. while Corzine was en route from Atlantic City to the governor's mansion in Princeton to moderate a meeting between the Rutgers women's basketball team and radio personality Don Imus. - snip

Accidents happen. No tin foil hat here, but key Democrats do seem to be more accident prone than Republics. I wonder if Corzine will run into Johnson during his time in rehab.

Wishing Governor Corzine has a speedy recovery.

3. Yep,
Dems being :spank:

Seriously, Corzine's injuries sound worse than originally thought. He's a very good guy. Hope he is AOK very soon.

5. Sounds like he needs to start wearing his seat belt
Pretty lame, if true, which it probably is since the trooper in the driver's seat next to him only had minor injuries:

<The governor does not usually wear a seat belt, a law-enforcement official said, but it was unknown whether he was wearing one at the time of the crash.>

come back with your rolling eyes when the report turns out to be true. The same info is cited in the Northwest Progressive Institute blog, if that helps:
