I am currently one of your constituents in Lawrence, Kansas. I recently attended your health care reform town hall meeting at the Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas. I was unable to ask my questions of you then, so here goes:
- Are you really that fucking ignorant? I know from your history of divorcing your husband 1 week after winning your Congressional seat that you are a scandalous whore, but are you really this willfully stupid as to the issues of health care? At the town hall, you stated that you did not want to create another government agency to handle health care because it would be far too costly, but yet you proposed that all Americans receive an advanced tax-credit from the Government.
- Where the FUCK will the money for this "tax-credit" come from? Who will administer it? Who will ensure that fraud does not run rampant? Who will ensure that the cost for health care will not continue on its exponential explosion? Who will ensure that my grandparents and parents have access to competent counseling for their end-of-life needs? Who will ensure that I am not denied coverage because I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 9?
- How do you like your health insurance coverage with the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program? Is it providing excellent care at an affordable price? How do the other 8 millions federal employees like their coverage? Now, tell me again, why can't I purchase the same health coverage as you? Should non-federal employees be relegated to second class status? Why is the health of you, your family, and your coworkers more important than the health of your constituents? Aren't you in Washington to serve ME?
- How can you serve your constituents when you purposely excrete bullshit after bullshit? It's clear you do not give a damn about the people of your State, because your actions will serve to DAMAGE the vast majority of your constituents.
- Your Congressional District is heavily rural. According to the National Rural Health Association, NRHA, per capita income for rural residents is $7417 less as compared to urban residents. This means that your constituents have less money with which to obtain affordable health insurance on their own. Also, unionization and medical benefits are substantially less significant in rural areas, meaning more of your constituents are forced to pay their own way for health coverage.
- 46% of rural residents are not covered by private insurance. What are you going to do about this? If almost half of your constituents cannot obtain access to private insurance, what are they supposed to do? How will waiting around till tax time to receive a magical "tax credit" help your constituents get the medical care they need?
- Do you care at all? Do you want to improve the lives of your constituents? The vast majority of your constituents would be unaffected by any tax increase measures needed to pay for quality health care.
We need doctors, nurses, new technology here in the boonies. The private market has proven it is incapable of providing your constituents with access to the universal right of health care. How will you fix this?
