Even in online role-playing games, Conservatives have to commit suicide-by-cop.
Edited on Wed Sep-02-09 09:38 PM by Ian David
A guy in my online gaming guild was a far-right conservative tea-bagging deather.

And not to be redundant, he is an asshole as well. He's a racist, small-minded, bigoted, abusive piece of shit.

Earlier today, he sent out an email saying he was planning on taking a break from the game- maybe even quitting.

Instead of just quitting, he instead logged-on with increasingly racist screen-names so that the guild leader would kick him out of the guild.

Probably also knowing that I would report him.

Which I did.

Just as I have in the past, the other two times he did something similar.

And so ends about six years of his playing the same game, in the same guild. All of that, down the drain.

Suicide-by-cop.

Not man enough to quit on his own, he needed to force someone else to pull the trigger.

I sent him an email pointing this out to him, and saying how unimpressed I am.

The rest of the guild is in shock.

I am relieved, and glad to see him go.

The rest of the guild is mostly thinking he might come back some day.

I don't think they realize how many times I have reported him for overtly racist behavior.

And who knows if others before me have done so. I would not be surprised.

I hope he's gone forever.

Fuck him.

1. Suicide-by-cop is not a term to use lightly.

2. No, it's not something I say lightly.

You have to understand how much of themselves people invest in games like this, to know how serious this is.

This is not meant lightly.

And not just because he was paying $30 a month for six years to build a character and a virtual house with virtual possessions.

This was a six-year relationship with what was probably the only people in the world willing to put up with him.

Granted, he's not actually dead in real life.

But it would not entirely surprise me if he took his own life in the real world sometime soon.

I just hope he doesn't hurt anyone else in the process.

5. The rest of the guildies were "accustomed to" his "in-your-face attitude."
What he has isn't attitude.

It's pathology.

7. He couldn't walk away on his own
Sounds like he wanted to leave, for whatever reason, but he couldn't go on his own.

Then he attacked, to be let loose and he is probably still steaming about the whole situation.

The skid marks are heating up and starting to smell!

13. Friend of mine trying to tell me how great it is.
Something about having multiple specs at one time. WTF I could never decide which spec I wanted with my warlock! I still have wow installed on my computer. I havent went and uninstalled yet kinda like keeping that one cigarette lying around when you quit.

14. Multiple specs? You're killing me.
No one could touch my lock, imagine if I could spec even better. Also, I only got to play to level 60, never did the level 70 thing, so that too is a very big pull.

I don't have wow on this computer, I'd need to upgrade anyway. I'll be honest, I've thought of stopping by Best Buy lately.

I was a day 1 newbie. Quit during that whole AQ stuff. Started again sometime after BC came out upped my Warlock to 70 and played around in PVP had a lot of fun with seed of corruption in AV. But it got boring again.
