And all the birthers, teabaggers, haters, whackos and media shills will be drowned out. And it will be beautiful. It can't happen any other way.

1. Started tonight.
My representative, Xavier Becerra held a an excellent telephone town hall. He announced that he will insist that a bill he votes on have a public option. He did not entirely rule out voting for a bill without it, but he seemed pretty certain that any bill he will vote for must have the public option.

Then I attended a health care vigil in an area near my home. There were at least 50 of us standing on corners with candles and signs. Cars honked and honked.

Conservatives have had their say. Wait till they hear from us. We will be out there again and again. We outnumber the teabaggers two to one in my area. I base that on polling done during the telephone call. Of course, there is no incentive for teabaggers to call in on informational phone calls because they can't steal the show by drowning out the congressmember.

It was a great evening.

8. Saw the end of one with Hoyer tonight on C-span . . . last question put
him on the spot -- "Will you support a public option" -- he said yes . . .!!

Didn't look at all happy tho!

And signed off immediately --

12. Thank you for your service. I hope to join in locally and to attend the Mad as Hell Doctors in DC,
Am missing a vigil here, as we'll be away. What's going on with the DC rally on the 13th? I'd rather stand for Single Payer than the public option.

We're too comfortable. If it can't happen any other way, then it won't happen.

Interesting contrast: the messages on the signs appear to all be correctly spelled. (Hope I didn't miss anything.)
