Harry Belafonte, one of the less recognized stalwarts of the human/civil rights movements
of the last half century, is interviewed at length about his views and what he has learned. Some of what he said about class and empire is just plain obvious to anyone willing to look, but I found his comments about President Obama to be really insightful and worth hearing, especially for those who get get suckered into the saint/sinner dichotomies.

The program "Fault Lines" is worth watching every time, but I think this episode is worth an extra kick.

In two parts on Youtube:

Older episodes are also on Youtube - check them out.)

And in one segment via: http://english.aljazeera.net/programmes/faultlines/2009/09/200992104133294158.html

It will also be repeated on FSTV for those who get it on DishTV or some other way.
