Inhofe needs to check his facts. We are already releasing terrorists in America.

Every day a mindboggling number of criminals are released back into society. They have, for the most part, received
little or no education or job training. They have the skill set they went in with, and those skills have probably
been enhanced by more negative ideas.

These criminals that are sent back out are not minor offenders. Many of them have committed truly heinous crimes such
as rape, assault, armed robbery, murder, and everything in the penal code. Many may also be mentally ill. However,
out they go into an inadequate parole system.

Many of these people are going to terrorize somebody again. They are going to tear at the root of society in every city. They don't hale from foreign countries or fly planes into buildings. They probably have not issued a formal declaration of their intent to bring the government down.

However, make no mistake about it. They are terrorists. Every year they cost us dearly. You just don't see it all on the teevee. A channel devoted 24/7 to highlighting the worst crimes each day would make you want to never leave your house.

If people try to reform the penal system so that programs are put in place to decrease recidivism, a howl goes up. Senator Inhofe would probably lead the way. "They have to be punished and not coddled. Why don't you just feed them milk and cookies." Nevermind that they would still be in prison, but receiving something positive before they are let out.

So Senator Inhofe while you bleat about the terrorists from Gitmo that will be loosed upon the land in a Supermax prison, I suggest you look around. There are scary people walking about now who just don't have a defined ideology that you can rail against. They are much more likely to terrorize you and people you know than the "foreigners."
