And my question would be what is the left intending to do about it...Nothing as far as I know...they will just let them take the stage, and you know the media will be right there with them.
It just makes me wonder about whether the leadership on the left has sold us out.

1. Let them mock the worst terrorist attack in US history.
Let the world see how horrible they really are.

We don't need to do anything.

6. But the media will not mock them.
But use it as evidence of a grass roots movement that represents the majority.
They win we loose.

7. I don't think so. 9/11 is sacred for most Americans. Even the far right won't like this.
I predict that this will backfire on disastrous levels.

9. No backfiring, just a further hardening of dug-in positions.
That's how this game works, these days.

11. I would like to think you are right
But I don't think so...we will see....but I predict the media will make a big deal of it and it won't be anything negative, and Cspan will cover it wall to wall.

2. If liberals rallied for healthcare reform on 9/11, it would be decried as disrespectful.
I bet you won't hear one word from the corporate media regarding the choice of days for this event by the teabaggers.

3. Tea Party rally draws 300 in EP to bash government
EL PASO -- About 300 fed-up El Pasoans joined a nationwide Tea Party movement Wednesday to show their opposition to government bailout programs and to voice their displeasure with President Obama's health-care plan.

The national Tea Party Express, a grass-roots organization that opposes higher taxes and government intervention, stopped in Northeast El Paso for a two-hour rally.

"This is awesome," Mark Williams, a national radio talk show host, said as he stepped off the Tea Party bus. "People here are enthusiastic and excited about the future of this country. We are taking back this country from the government."

4. The Right always gets the spotlight.
I went to a Healthcare vigil last night. There were about 100 of us and under ten right-wing disruptors. No matter how many people we get together, the media interviews both sides pretty equally. It only takes one of them to ten of us for their message to get across, too. As long as the media goes along with this, the teabaggers win.

15. Glenn Becks 9/12 project will be in DC on 9/12. Not 9/11. Thus the name.
I believe our rally is scheduled for 9/13.

17. 9/11 is a day of mourning for our country
I think it's highly innappopriate to protest on this day.
