Remember how Investigations and Prosecutions would be distractions?
Remember when it was being said that investigations or prosecutions of Bush Administration wrongdoing would be unacceptable distractions from the real work that the Obama Administration needed to tackle? Well, investigations have begun and if anything they offer welcome relief from the heat of the health care debate and if anything are taking place hidden under the health insurance debate umbrella.

Nobody is being distracted from anything, other than it appears that the investigation(s) are beginning to move forward with little political push back. We can thank the Health Care Financing debate for that, it being in its own way the great distraction of the day. Refreshing.

1. Investigations + Health Care + Economic Stimulous + DOJ/FBI/CIA/NSA Reform + ....
The poor Republics going on Faux won't be able to keep up. They'll just start squawking, mumbling RW talking points and even the news readers will be shaking their heads and asking "WTF was THAT about?" when it's finally over.

Dear President Obama,

The Republicans can only track one issue at a time. Give them three or four different issues to fight, and they'll lose their shit. What you and I consider multi-tasking, they'll call Armageddon.

Try it.

2. I just hope those torture investigations don't stop with the CIA...
and based on Cheney's very public squirming, I get the impression they won't. :)
