I really enjoy Monday Night Football. Would hate to throw that game on the trash heap. :)

4. I'm a citizen, not a television viewer. My job description is to hire and fire managment.
If you are a passive viewer, i suppose then you could also be a Monday morning quarterback.

Personally, I'm in a firing mood. This whole health care reform thing has been botched. Our management seems to have sold out to the health care industrial complex.

5. Yes. Learning from our mistakes, or even perceived mistakes, kept us alive.
It may still serve basically the same function.

Of course, they're are some who just like to complain for the sake of it, but in general I think it is ingrained in us from way back.
