I Can't Wait Until Obama Wins His Second Term
The continual epic fail from the haters is really getting on my nerve. The man can't even put his pants on without somebody complaining that he put the wrong leg in first.

When he wins again, they will have no agenda. To hope he fails after a second term would clearly be hoping that America fails.

1. He WILL win a second term. For that reason, he should act more boldly.
FDR told Republicans that did not support the New Deal to suck on it and like it.

Considering what the economy looked like when Obama took office, I would think that success is at hand.

FAIL? PLEASE!

17. Once again . . . name ONE Republican or Democrat that can beat him.
Sarah Palin? PLEASE. I'm HOPING they nominate her. This will be a landslide that rivals Reagan-Mondale. This woman destroys herself with each idiotic statement.

Dick Cheney? That would require frequent unfiltered public speaking, which he just don't do. Plus he's not medically fit to do the campaigning, much less the job.

Newt Gingrich? A fossil with no charisma, a whiny voice and intangibles that even Repukes don't like.

Pawlenty? No name factor. No appeal. No ideas.

Hillary Clinton is probably tired of running at this point, as much as they put Clintons in general through the ringer. I'd even be surprised if she runs in 2016. It'd be nice, but not probable.

At this point, it would take a major scandal or something greater that he'd fail at to derail Obama's second term.

4. I'm also not buying into "Dems will lose big in 2010 elections." This
is the MSM meme but I'm just not buying it. You don't hear so much from Dems because they're not nuts like the right, they conduct intelligent conversations and know nuts when they see it. This nation, thank you god, is not majority-wise unintelligent. They just know how to conduct themselves and make for boring television. Don't worry, we will maintain our majority in both houses and the losses will be huge for the right. People are watching them and running from them in their minds, very quickly. Just my opine....

or beating the people who previously claimed to be on our side.

I guess it's like chocolate and peanut butter: two great tastes that taste great together.

15. They already want this country to fail
we don't have to wait for President Obamas second term win to see this. They are mad as hell that the person they felt inadequate for the job (be it because of his race, gender, name, experience etc) is doing a finer job than the people the rooted for.

Now they are scared that a black man is going to be speaking to their kids at school. If only republicans were saying this I wouldn't be too surprised. But so called liberals are bitching about the same thing.

16. If he drops public option or attaches trigger or other debilitating clauses
I will be backing Dennis Kucinich or Howard Dean in 2012.

I'm tired of fake progressives wearing the Democrat label.

22. He & the democrats better pass health care with a public option & Obama will cruise to a 2nd term...
Edited on Thu Sep-03-09 01:09 PM by GreenTea
Republicans know this very well, and are doing anything possible to stop health care and the public option.

As Former president Bill Clinton said....

”I'm telling you no matter how low they drive support for this with misinformation, the minute the president signs a health care reform bill his approval will go up. Secondly, within a year, when all those bad things they say will happen don't happen, and all the good things happen, approval will explode”.
