9. Quite possibly much of it is coming from Rahm Emanuel
and his staff of DLC clones. As each of their trial balloons thuds to earth unceremoniously, they're getting a lesson in their irrelevance to the public debate.

I have no problem with their doing this. It's a tough lesson and it's high time they learn it. However, with Obama home from vacation and back in residence, they need to be reined in and put on message.

Conservatives are in the unenviable position of having tried their ideas for the past 40 years and having them fail miserably for 90% of the people in the country.

Because we live in a 24/7 news cycle, the media hypes whatever it can just to fill air time. They don't check for accuracy, they don't care about accuracy, they just have to find something to fill all that air time and give the talking heads they employ something to speculate about.

15. We have given up too much to the Repukes in the name of bi-partnership
The Republicans will never vote for this healthcare reform bill no matter how much the Dems give up. I say screw the Repukes and pass a single payer or medicare for all without any of them voting for it.

14. If the Administration had that kind of pull on the media,
Obama's ratings would be in the 80 percentile.

The media reports what it wants,
and mostly it ain't what Obama would like to have out there.....

So you can think his admin is floating rumors,
but my guess is more likely that the media is doing it's fucking best
to kill health care reform and lead with Public Option Blood in the process.
