Just ran across a post stating that Obama
was a member of the Socialist Party, so I googled and all references seem to be wing-nut ones. Is there a fact-check on this someplace? Need it if anyone has a link.

20. The short answer, as always, is "prove it"
It's not your job to refute baseless, groundless accusations. If your correspondent can provide proof that Obama was a socialist, by all means he should provide it. Then you have something to base the discussion on. But you should decline his invitation to chase shadows in dark caves.

7. I know they tried saying at the town halls he's a socialist,
but it's not flying very high. It's the first time I've heard about him being a member of the Party though. They just don't quit, do they...and all because he's not white..only half white.

11. Mr. Shraby belongs to an auto forum and they brought
it up there. That's when I googled and see the rumor is out there. I told him to make them post a link...they'll probably post worldnutdaily. One of the places that has the "story".
