C-Span Radio (available on line) will do a special on LBJ's Medicare Calls
"LBJ's Medicare Calls: A C-SPAN Radio Special -- This Saturday

As Congress continues work on health care legislation, hear the comparisons to the 1965 Medicare bill when C-SPAN Radio airs a special program of President Johnson's 1964 and 1965 calls on the Medicare debate this Saturday at 3:30 pm ET. You’ll hear LBJ plan strategy to win approval of the measure, with participants including his chief Congressional aide Larry O’Brien; key members of Congress, including Senator Albert Gore Senior, father of the future vice president, and House Ways and Means Committee chairman Wilbur Mills; and pediatrician Benjamin Spock.

Throughout the program, historian David Shreve provides context and background for these conversations.

LBJ’s calls about Medicare from 1964 and 1965 will air this Saturday at 3:30 pm ET on C-SPAN Radio, available in the Washington/Baltimore area at 90.1 FM; nationwide on XM Satellite Radio, channel 132; and on the web at c-spanradio.org."

3. Isn't it amazing that this post, which is just a quote, has Unrecommends?
When this post had one reply and only 5 views it had already received an Unrecommend. There is not one word of opninion in it, in fact all the thing is is a cut-and-past of a notification I received in the mail. There is simply nothing here to disagree with.

The trolls are active today.

4. People use it against people they don't like, regardless
of content, so in that way it's a popularity thing here at DU. Sad.
