Scarborough rips conservatives for seeking ratings by scaremongering about Obama’s education speech.

Earlier today, ThinkProgress noted that conservatives are freaking out over President Obama’s upcoming speech to schoolchildren about “persisting and succeeding in school,” claiming that it is actually aimed at political indoctrination. On MSNBC’s Morning Joe today, host Joe Scarborough ripped into the hyperventilating conservatives. “Seriously, why don’t we want the president of the United States, any president of the United States, delivering the message to kids: work hard, stay in school, succeed,” said Scarborough, adding, “get your ratings if you want, you’re just screwing your political party.”

8. Something is up with Joey Scar...
He's all over the place promoting his book and often absent from the show.
Oh, and did he mention lately he once was a Rep. in the House? (like just about every two minutes)
No more casual look for him on Morning Joe. No sweaters or open collars, it's suits and ties now.
Then he says really nice things about Teddy. (Ted sent him a signed picture of Bobby and included a letter to Scar wishing the best for his young son who was diagnosed with diabetes.)
Scar was extremely moved by it.
And....he is increasingly starting an opinion with, "The right wing isn't going to like what I'm about to say, but......"
Yeah ...I think he is making a move to cast himself as a centrist and throw his hat into the political ring again. For what seat, I have no idea.
But, Scar has some nasty baggage in the form of a pretty, young, dead staffer found on his office floor and people have looooong memories.

14. O. M. G.
:puke:
I've watched enough of "mean" Joe to see that his temper is barely controlled most of the time.
His eyes turn into black slits of rage when he is even slightly challenged.
(David Shuster got a big taste of Joe's nastiness one morning and I wondered seriously if tables and chairs were going to go flying)
He is sarcastic, pompous, arrogant and one rude Repuke asshole.
