All I have to say is:
The dumbing down of American has reared its ugly head.

I just had to say this. I know it has been said before, but I don't think it can be said enough.
I loved Jonathon Alter on KO tonight when he said that the republicans have become the southern, white and stupid party. I grew up in an all white county in in Illinois, so, I know what it is like.

Had to vent a little.

Yeah, I can't watch cable news anymore. I can't read half the stuff posted here. I've turned it over and decided to not control ANYTHING except what I can....me.

8. That is what a lot of people are doing.
It is just so draining. I guess that is their goal, to wear everyone down to where they can't or are to tired to fight back.

12. I guess there are a lot of them that live on credit, because
I just cannot figure out how they could have jobs down here that pay enough to have two brand new cars, new cell phones, and pay insurance for their cars. It would cost a small fortune.

17. Has it just started or has it always been that way?
I recall quite some time ago seeing those "man in the street" things where guys with cameras and microphones go out and ask ordinary American people on the street certain questions that one would think just about anyone older than 12 would know.

People gave all sorts of stupid/ridiculous answers.

The studio audience laughed...I don't know why. To me, it's just shameful and pathetic. When my fellow Americans can't even answer simple questions, I'm ashamed to be an American.
