SCOTUS denies the VFW in participating in oral arguments in Church/State case
Edited on Fri Sep-04-09 10:58 PM by usregimechange
In the case detailed here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x6400830

SCOTUS issued an order today that denied the VFW's request to participate in oral arguments as they seek to influence the court to allow a Christian monument on public land:

08-472 SALAZAR, SEC. OF INTERIOR V. BUONO, FRANK
The motion of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, et al. for leave to participate in oral argument and for divided argument is denied.

I only wish we could obtain a roll call of the vote.
