compromise on health care reform means insurance co. profits as important as saving lives
Preserving the profits of health insurance companies means some will be priced out of the market or if premiums for private insurance are subsidized, money will go to insurance company profits that could have gone to paying for medical care.

It seems kind of offensive that the right of the wealthy to accumulate even more superfluous wealth is treated as equally important to my right to continue to live or to do so without going bankrupt.
