Public option "taped to side of bus,, not under it yet."

according to Ed Henry, CNN's White House correspondent.

Citing senior White House staffers, Henry is reporting that, while Pres. Obama still supports a public option, he is willing to drop it in order to get a Health Care Bill passed.

He also says to expect Obama to strike a more conciliatory tone in an effort to get bipartisan support.

he's going to need knee pads. I don't see how he could still really think we'll get any Rethug support. I can only think he wants to push the legislation to the right. I don't think he's stupid and that would be the only other explanation for beating that dead horse of bipartisanship.

What if Obama has a translator if he can't sound that decisive? Maybe that would help drive some points home.

Obviously, Samuel L. is the man for the job.

Obama: We need a public option. Americans want a choice. If you like your current healthcare plan, as I've said, you can keep it. If not, you can enroll in the public plan and enjoy the same plan as Congress.
