Think I'm kidding? Hannity et al. will shortly be calling him a lawbreaker and an abuser of taxpayer funds since his medical bills will be in the extreme. On the one hand, they'll say that they wish him 'well and a return to good health' but on the other hand, they'll say that he's a criminal and should be charged with reckless endangerment AND since he was going to mediate Imus and the Rutgers ladies team, that he was inappropriately speeding to keep up the PC Brigade,

2. Shame On Him
He should have been wearing a seatbelt. He's the leader of the state and should set a good example for his citizens.

I used to date a guy in the Navy who told me if they got into an accident and weren't wearing a seatbelt they could face disciplinary action.

I think when he recovers, he should do public service announcements about wearing seatbelts. And that ought to be the end of it.

3. counter-point
He wasn't wearing his seatbelt because he's STATES-RIGHTS MAN and the Federal Government has no business conducting crash tests and implementing safety standards

/just seeing if it'll fly - you know they'd give it a try

4. I know they will
But it was wrong of him to not wear a seatbelt especially because of the massive campaign of "Click it or Ticket." I have seen signs everywhere. Im guess the Governor didnt see them.
