I'm probably "not alone" in this. But my attitudes opinions have dramatically

shifted/changed since finding DU. I know that I have pissed some people off at times. (Thanks Mods for not giving me the granite pizza when I was "edgy"). Thanks to DU'ers *at large* for putting up with me for all of this time....

It's kind of tough sometimes now, b/c there are posters that I *know* are disrupters/mostly hold opposite views to my own, yet they don't 'cross the line'....and, well, I'm glad that we still *talk* with each other ~ stilted as those the conversations may be.

DU is still a wonderful place/forum. NOT 'perfect', but that's okay, right? Because practically nothing/no one is 'perfect' in this world. People talking/discussing things/issues with each other is usually fruitful.

I'm off ot bed. Tomorrow is another day (and undoubtedly another "drama" from the political drama queens ~ be them right or left ~ which I'm so tired of, I think I'm going to ignore them now and just "live my life".)

With thousands of active users, that's lots of eyes looking around and digging up information that is all too often neglected or buried purposely. Having said that, it's also compelled me to go out and dig up information pertaining to socialism and capitalism and the differences between the two theoretical poles. I once believed the propaganda that Republicans are for small gov't, while the Democrats are for big government. In 2000, I thought Bush was the lesser of two evils because of cited propaganda.

How naive I was. Of course, I'm more of an advocate of market socialism or a mixed economy that leans solidly left. I'm to the left of most politicians in the Democratic Party as a result, a product of eight years of Bush and college exploration/experimentation, and I began as a center-rightist.

Or do you have some special magical "insight" ;-) - DHS knows all/sees all .... tracks all habits would be my best guess.
