As long as I have been politically aware, Republicans have been AGAINST something
Even policies they claim to promote are , at their core, a rebellion against something already in place, and usually working just fine.

The only things they seem to be FOR are war and more war

they are against :

taxes
immigrants
people darker than doughy-pale
other countries' ways
public education
fair elections
fair campaigning
food safety regulation
clean air-water regulation
banking regulation
and so many more, I cannot even remember

2. Close...
But they are not for war either.

They are against peace. There is no profit in peace... or so they think.

4. Yup. Usually something that would cost them MONEY.
No matter how well spent, if it costs them, then it's too much...

Unless, of course, it's for the fucking military.

Damn.

5. "Unless, of course, it's for the fucking military"
Because the military helps them appropriate other countries' resources, thereby bringing them more money.

6. They are against anything that is paid for or led by the government

Putting it plainly, they are against any program that pays for food, housing or healthcare for those who don't earn their own way...aka, sit on their butts...primarily, African Americans and Mexicans.

It seems to me that it became worse with Reagan, as he pointed out people coming to pick up their food stamps in Cadillacs...eating steak dinners on the public dole...wearing mink stoles and diamonds...on and on and on.

I'm convinced this is never going to change. They are beyond help.

With Dems fighting for such programs as Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare, food stamps, etc., we stand out like a sore thumb to them. We are taking away from their wealth and those who aren't working don't deserve to be helped.

It burns them big time to have an African American in the White House and they don't like him "instructing" them or reprimanding them on any subject. How dare he?

Some may not seem racist, but you dig deep enough and you'll find it.
