Louie Gohmert issues response to questions about sign
Goober hasn’t been getting much press since Wilson, but he was the ass that held up the sign that said “What Bill?” when Obama spoke. And here is his response:

http://gohmert.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=44§iontree=4,44&itemid=632

Read if you dare. I can’t decide if he is stupid, crazy, or both.

1. Man, just look at that guy. It looks like an Onion send up. Couldn't make
myself read it -- I feel suffocated when I hear people of his ilk spouting stupidity while thinking they're superior.

3. It never ceases to amaze me how simpletons get elected to positions of power.
Are there really that many even dumber, easily fooled people voting for them?

6. Now you went and did it.
I love our fellow Texas Democrats, but they sure do have a particularly resistant strain of ignorant down there that infects the gullible.

7. In this area it is very easy
This district has mostly redneck bubbas. I hate it, because I used to love where I live, but the stupidity has been brought to a new (scarier) level. He keeps getting because around here, you are a Republican or un-American and nothing in between. This all under the guise of being a good Christian.

8. Had a discussion with a Texan the other day, about health care.
He just couldn't wrap his head around the fact that there is health care rationing in this country, right now, today, and that is done by faceless bureaucrats in the health insurance industry.

His argument was, that for some reason those people have our best interests at heart.

I told him his insurance company would let him and his entire family die, if they thought it would save them a nickel, and that reform would make that stop from happening.

He was certain that he would end up having to go see a 'government doctor'.

It was frustrating. He was a nice guy, but just couldn't see how badly he was being fooled.

9. I just started working at
a school district here. You wouldn't believe the people that I work with that complain about Obama's health care plan and all the while they have insurance funded by tax dollars.

One woman told me that Obama should not speak to the kids because "all he is trying to do is push his health care bill."
