I say we keep it.. Our weather is sunny all the time :P

although this was a stealth shuttle..no double boom

Other than the sonic boom there's nothing exciting about landings.

Takeoffs, on the other hand (especially at night) are a no-miss.

5. I once saw the shuttle being transported somewhere -

we were all lying around the pool at Watergate (where I lived at the time).

The plane flew low, really low - it might have been coming into Dulles for some kind of exhibit, I don't remember, it being about twenty years ago - and it was a breathtaking sight.

The most remarkable thing was that everyone stood up and applauded. Just cheered our asses off, clapping until the plane and its piggyback passenger were out of sight.

Remarkable experience. I'm so glad I was there.....................................
