this morning. I worked at a 9/11 memorial blood drive. We had a bunch of firefighters donate. All went well and no one talked any politics.
I was thinking 9/11 should remind everyone what happens when you put a pack of criminals and perverts in power. Never forget!

Thank you for that. I find it so strange that the Republicans have used 9/11 as some sort of safety badge of honor when it truly was the worst attack on American soil in the history of this country and they were asleep at the switch and massively screwed up the aftermath, including the falsely created "opportunity" to make some WAR that has crippled and killed countless innocent humans in several countries, tens of thousands of troops (maimed, wounded and permanently damaged mentally, physically or both) and wasted money we are in desperate need of right about now. Jeez...

How is it that polls indicate most people think Republicans are better at keeping this country safe???? What the efffff??? I'm starting to really think we've entered some alternative universe where logic, fairness, morality and sense are hallucinogenic manifestations that aren't even remotely recognizable as what we've known them to be.
