In fact, taxes have gone down to the point that our infrastructure cannot be maintained without deficit spending because the revenues don't exist. At any level, from municipal to federal, repairs only get made or equipment upgraded when someone gets hurt or killed because of the negligence! Tax, my ass. The only people truly concerned about tax hikes are the uberwealthy greedy and the middle class idiots they've fooled into believing that that means them too.
