People of New Orleans: Are you happy with your hurricane insurance?

A favorite talking point of the talking heads is that "most people are happy with their health insurance".

If a survey had been done in 2004 in New Orleans asking "Are you happy with your hurricane insurance" most would have said yes.
They paid their premiums and trusted that their private insurance company would pay their claims in the event of a hurricane.

Then Katrina hit.
And those happy homeowners found out that only wind damage was covered, not flood damage.
They should have read page 287 of their micro-printed policy more carefully!
Thousands were shafted.

A survey needs to be done among those who actually file health insurance claims.

Let's see how "happy" they are.
