Repukes just don't get it - ending "protest" with "We're Not Gonna Take It"

Like Reagan using "Born in the USA" and there was some other song used by righties in the last year - I don't think it was McCain/Palin, but perhaps another repuke during the primary?

Clearly they don't listen to lyrics, or if they do, clearly they have no ability to understand poetic metaphor, symbolism, and irony.

Probably it's the lack of ability to understand irony that defines them most. I don't know.

But it certainly shows how goddamn dumb they are.

and in the Twisted Sister instance, especially hilarious since they were on the bands that the repukes (along with that dreadfully wrong Tipper Gore) singled out in the PMRC hearings as the music of the devil and what was destroying our country.

Don't they even read their own propaganda?

7. They say they are protesting Bush as well.
They said on CNN when interviewed they were protesting government spending increasing over the last ten years.

The theme was quit spending money we don't have.

10. Once again, Reagan never used "Born in the USA."
The most Reagan ever did was allude in a speech to Springsteen as singing songs with messages of "hope" and try to coopt that image for his campaign. He never actually used the song "Born in the USA."
