FReepers really ARE that stupid
Edited on Sun Sep-13-09 08:08 PM by SoCalNative
"I don't want government-run health, but I have figured out how to checkmate the Left on the issue.

Tell them that we will accept ANY plan that requires participation by all senators, congressmen and government employees.

The utter fairness of this offer is patently obvious..

It is also patently obvious that our inside-the-beltway political elite would never accept such a plan."

Morans! They aleady HAVE Government run health care.

1. We don't care if they'll accept it or not--we don't need them.
If we get Democrats all on the same page they will be completely irrelevant to the passing of this bill.

4. Are you sure it was a freeper posting this -
Or a "drive-by posting" by someone with half a clue just to yank their collective chains?
It sounds like something Laz would post if he inadvertantly wandered into Free Republic...

7. They have the FEHB, Federal Employee Health Benefit plan. That's pretty much
what Obama is talking about when he says Public Option. It uses private insurance, but the pool is so big, the insurance companies have to play nice.

8. They have to play nice because govt states stuff that must be included,
and they all compete. Its not 'public option,' I think, as there are hundreds of options available, many of them are not inexpensive, and govt does not provide the services.
