5. I don't understand how these people can smile and look
so happy when they're holding something that ugly and mean. It's like they have no idea at all how offensive it is to hurt people who've done them no harm. Yet .... she looks semi-normal. I just don't get it.

But an ambiguous "Honestly I don't think the President has thought about it because he has better things to do" or "I don't know, why don't you ask them" might have been a good way to avoid accepting the premise of the question and smack the teabaggers around a little bit.
