Did Glenn Beck ever say WHY he bailed on his own Klan rally?
Is there an official explanation? Was he being probed by aliens or something?

Just curious.

:hi:

1. "Fox wanted him to anchor from Fox Studios in New York"
That came down when it looked like they'd be lucky to break 10,000 people at the thing about a month ago.

In the mold of lighting a match and walking away.

4. This morning he claimed that he had nothing to do with the demonstration.
Yeah, the a-hole actually said that he didn't have anything to do with it and that everyone just organized together.

He also claimed that the numbers were between 50,000 and two million. (I know, i know. he is an idiot who will say anything.)

15. Well, to be fair,
60,000 is between 50,000 and two million. It's just remarkably fucking close to the low end.

25. Well, you know, Jesus Christ showed up and did that whole loaves and fishes trick.
So, that helped out. He's good to have around in a pinch, although his catering menu is limited.

29. Yeah, but that water to wine trick is unbeatable at a party.
Hope you had the sense to fill your Olympic size swimming pool (and all your spare containers) before the crowd showed up.

24. I asked some beckhead about that in the cesspool that
is our local rag's comment section. He claimed that Beck never intended to show up because he didn't want the event to be all about him. "This rally was supposed to be about 'We the People',", this guy explained to me, quite seriously.

He doesn't really believe the bullshit he is spewing, but is laughing all the way to the bank.
