I was sharing my disbelief at the stupidity of the so called "protest" last night, and my disgust with the mounds of trash the "no government services" crowd left behind for government-funded municipal waste to deal with. In the course of the discussion, I was rather forceful in my assertion that they were all fucking morons.

My 14 year old daughter (youngest of three) took offense and an argument ensued. She was obviously deeply offended, so I managed to diffuse the situation. My wife pointed out to me later that she has a lot of friends who are from "FOX IS ALL WE WATCH" families.

I just explained to her that I wasn't speaking of ALL Republicans, but rather the group that had been bused in for the FOX show. The video neatly confirmed what I had been saying. Even I was shocked at how fucking stupid those people were. She understands now and is no longer offended.

Those are just a few. They left the place cluttered with trash for the DC taxpayer trash system to pick up. No problem of course, because that isn't THEIR tax money.

I have no problem with being called out on my errors. I appreciate it actually. I don't mind being bitten by an alligator once, but if the same alligator bites me a second time, then I'm going to get pissed - at myself.
