Just got an email in support health care from Catholics!

Just got an email in support health care from Catholics!


It is saying to call Sept 15th to support Obama and health care reform. It says people of faith are for it. It sent me to this page:

I do not know how to post the original email. I wish we could get people of faith to do what is right for everyone...

...I was raised Catholic and although I've strayed I've always held onto the "whatever you do to the least of these people, you do to me" philosophy....

5. I quoted that recently to a Teabagger (she seemed to be "religious")
in her own way and what do you think her response was?..."Obama said that"!...I couldn't believe it!

..I said, yeah, well, Jesus said it first. It didn't seem to click.

Good on the Catholics, though, for coming out for this.

10. I know, and I find it ironic since Catholic Christianity
preceeded the fundie type by about 1500 years. One could even say they were the First Christians.

9. Considering the number of Catholic hospitals out there, who better than
them to know what a crisis we are in. I wish they had spoken up sooner and as passionately as they do against some of their pet issues like abortion and gay marriage.
