Who check's Bush's mental health?
The president’s annual physicals are always new items. We are told what great shape he is in and what great health care is available to him. Does anyone have the responsibility of checking his mental health? That would seem to be more important to us than the state of his colon. Recent videos of the president suggest an increasingly delusional, unstable and erratic mind state. Hopefully someone is in charge of monitoring the psyche of the Commander-in-Chief and hopefully they would not be ignored if they found something really troubling.

1. Obviously nobody, because if they did he'd be locked up for
good.

Either that, or the Bush family holds the psychiatrist at gun point everytime he makes a public statement.

2. I do believe they have a responsibility to list all medications
he is on... Yet, while there is clear evidence Bush* has been medicated/sedated or at least given beta blockers on some occasion and physical tics suggest he may have been tried on others, we are not given this info... To the contrary, there was an article detailing the extreme protective measures given him when he travels to international conferences (I think this first came up with his trip to India) that indicated he travels with his own toilet, which does not connect to local sewage systems--the implication being they do not wish for anyone to drug test his feces...

Yes, we are owed a lot more info than we may ever be given...

11. I find that difficult to believe.
first of all, there is the idea of privacy of health concerns - a law that Bush signed, by the way. (except it requires reports to the feds on drugs, Dxs, more)

Another thing is, Bush's entire bowel activity is under strict guard. When he travels, they bring a special, guarded porty potty to prevent any enterprising reporter from having a sample analyzed in a lab.

14. Are you responding to my post? The issue about guarding his
feces is exactly what I point out in my post? What exactly do you find hard to believe? Nonsequitors today seem to be the norm....

20. Well, beta blockers
(which I take) do keep the heart from thumping too hard, but I don't think they would quite count as psychotropic meds, do you?

23. No... I think they are given to counter psychotropic meds...
and to temper his anger in high stress settings like press conferences...

6. Maybe his title "Turdblossom" signifies that
he is the official custodian of the top secret presidential feces.

7. Last year, they didn't report a psych or neuro exam.
Telling, I thought. Neuro is always included in a full history and physical, and they never, ever have mentioned his.

9. The presidential physical examination reports have always been
bullshit.

We weren't told about Kennedy's poor health.

We weren't told about Johnson's cancer.

We weren't told about the Gipper's Alzheimer's, which should have been pretty obvious to any physician before the end of his first term.

I assume the presidents have and had the best medical care available; but the American public is never told the truth about their physical conditions, to say nothing of their mental health.

12. I was thinking something similar yesterday.
Why do the 'leaders' of this or any country not have to go to counseling on a regular basis to make sure their issues are not in the way and that they are capable of working for the people? I think a therapist should work closely with higher-ups.

13. Does anyone know who the "Surgeon General" is now??
You hear very little about this cabinet post anymore. Remember when Koop held the post? He was on TV all the time!! I wonder if this would be the "go to " person in re to the POTUS's physical and mental status?? Is it required by some written law that he have a yearly or semi annual physical?? The last one he had was at Bethesda. I know because my grand daughter is in training there to be a Naval Corpsman,(reg Navy) She said the Dr's. and Nurses dread when he's coming in, because for security reasons he takes over a WHOLE FLOOR, and they can't care for the ones who really need their attention during the time that he's there!!! My grand daughter will be leaving for Kuwait in mid Feb. just about the time they are expecting something to happen with Iran!!!:scared:  :patriot:

Bush's general, let alone mental health, is the best kept secret of his presidency.
