3. Yay!!! My friend Helen Fonos and I planned it
We told our folks that we were going to Palisades Amusement Park in Jersey. I knew my folks would worry about our safety since we were only 16. We got up pre dawn went into Manhattan, got bus tickets and off we went. It was a terrific way to start really growing up.

P.S. Mom was surprised and impressed when I told her where we really went.

4. John Phillips Sousa did the best marches.
Everything else pales in comparison.

Unless you have a 2,000,000 MorAN march that is changing the whirled with its tasty, sweet, rational argumints.

One thing I have not heard in the ManeSteamMedium. Washington DC is a southern town. Culturally, geographically, politically, and socially. The fact that someone dropped the US capital inside hardly changed things. Of course they could collect 20k, even 50K in morons, village seeking idiots, and birthers.
