I've been skimming through the "teabagger's march" pics. I have to state the obvious,...
I do not observe non-white and/or financially-impaired and/or union-labor and/or civil-rights and/or human-rights and/or compassionate, empathic types in ANY of the pictures. Moreover, I observe NO signs that have a rational rather than provocative communication. I also observe a consistent expression of disgust on the protestors' faces,...in contrast to the expression of solidarity I witnessed when participating in pre and post-Iraq war demonstrations.

There is a HUGE difference, apparently, between what these white, financially secure, non-union, anti-rights, un-empathic protestors experience in a demonstration compared to what I experienced in solidarity with other fellow compassionate human beings.

I am unable to feel sorry for them; but,...I have to confess that I am grateful to be in a place in touch with common human experiences and concerns, far away from that place they choose to be.

I am grateful.

1. Did you happen to see any arial shots?
That we didn't see years ago?

14. I have "arieal shots" of those protests, years ago.
They were truly, amazing!

Honestly, I can't imagine at least some of them being captured in future history books.

Then, again,...like the "neocons" stated in so many words, 'WE make history while the historians are figuring it all out'.

2. Why do you think they're financially secure?

They appear just the opposite to me.

Just a bunch of fucking idiots, basically.

6. My wife happened to point that out to me.

I haven't been watching much of the TB nonsense so I missed the obvious.

They're not well dress but actually the opposite. They look like ignorant small-minded townies.

Sad but true...

8. I tend to agree
It is one of the most perplexing aspects of much of the "anti-tax" sentiment in this country, that the average tax protester doesn't have a pot to piss in. Many are just delusional. Take Joe the Plumber, who lamented that the President's tax policies would prevent him from purchasing a business netting $250k in profits a year. Yes it was tax policy, not the fact that he was an unlicensed laborer making $20 or $30 grand a year. It is the same delusion that makes some low level management schmuck toe the corporate line, when in reality he has much more of a common interest with the janitorial staff than the chairman of the board. Clearly the people organizing these things are moneyed interests, the folks carrying their water are not.

3. I was unaware that "financially-impaired" people...
... have "a look."

Anyway, when I scan through all the pics here at DU I see a bunch of teh stoopid signs, the mis-spelled signs, the irrational signs. But then, those are the only kinds of signs I would expect to see here. Perhaps -- and I'm just guessing -- it's not necessarily a random sampling of all the signs from the protest? Angry, loud people attract camera lenses. Do you think (and this is a sincere question here) that all 2 million 50,000 people were ugly, abusive, and hateful?

4. teabaggers make my head hurt.
I can't attribute the clip, but one female (old+white, of course) loudly proclaimed to the camera that 'Obama isn't even African American...' wait for it... 'because his mother was white.' She didn't propose that he wasn't American or that he's an illegal alien, just not African American. Hmm. Mother - white American, father - African. That would make President Obama, um, what?

5. Financially-impaired don't have
"a look"? I suggest you visit your local Walmart and observe their customers for a while.

7. Just a little side note
Littlegreenfootballs has finally seen the light. Charles Johnson, the blog master of LGF has come full circle and has rejoined the democrat liberal left. It's true, check it out. He hates christians, Glenn Beck, Bucannon, Hannity, Mulkin and others. Hell he's given the spy Zombir his/her walking papers. Sharmuda and Killgore trout, assistant blog masters, have helped this transition.

Great day in the bolgoshpere.

10. Somehow, that brought this crtoon to mind!

And you're right. There's not the least bit of "symmetry" between THOSE creeps, and those who risked the full panoply of police "crowd control"---billyclubs, mace, tazers, fines, and (BRUTAL) jail time!

12. It was a Klan rally.
That's not hyperbole. Look at old Klan photos-the expressions on their faces, the signs they carried-we saw the exact same thing Saturday.

I won't refer to it as a teaparty or even a teabagger rally anymore. Those terms are too innocuous for this group. It was a Klan rally.

,...O'Reilly, Beck and the rest of those neo-supremists,...THEY OBVIOUSLY drove this rally THANKS BE TO the supremist-corporacratic-driven "faux news" corporation via cable and radio.

THAT corporation is into profiteering by learning from the best of the best on how to market HATE: HITLER!!! THAT corporation is prolly PROUD of how it better churned profits out of HATE than hitler, himself.

15. I'll just point one thing to you
they are not necessarily financially secure... and part of what you see is their rage and blaming external forces for their plight. I hate to compare Republicans to Nazis, but the Nazis relied on those people to man the SA.
